I'm typing this with my eyes barely open but I think I should blog nonetheless cause when I'm back I wouldn't have the excitement to do this. Haha it's like how I usually love to edit after the shoot cause you feel excited. Although the weather today wasn't what we all expected it to be, the rained eventually cleared up and thank God for the wonderful sun! Blessing in disguise cause then it wouldn't be so hot. Imagine Mabel changing into so many different outfits if the sun was scorching hot haha she would have melted. I'm happy watching her so happy :>

& I think it went pretty well yay for 3 of us

My very first shoot EVER. With my personal favourite Singaporean model till now :> She's amazing haha I love reading her blog it's so enlightening and insightful. Wished you guys all knew her personally cause I'm really glad I did. Look at how she makes friends with all these people that wanted a photo with her haha too cute right. Thanks for agreeing to shoot with me although I had to prior portfolio to show you (and you were already so popular) BTW I had a second shoot with her and I loved it :') Not being ego or anything but it's my fav series I think! Ok top 3 for sure. 

I'll upload them next time haha. Right now I'm actually sorting out my old hard disk and I'm finding loads of photos from the younger days. My friends have been receiving photo spams of our primary or secondary photos/ photos of what they wrote in my autograph book hahahaha it's funny. 

Ok back to point. Irene Creations so generously lent me this beautiful cheong sum for free thank God. Being a student you're pretty much on budget for everything. Thank you thank you Charis/ Carebear for always helping me out so willingly <3 It's not like she needs a portfolio out of this or anything, she just helps me thank you so much. Joel and Ah Qian came along for this too haha I miss you guys. I've learnt so much ever since this shoot and I hope to learn alot more through the years. I hope that I'll continue to shoot, keep this interest going and also meet people of similar passion for collabs or something. What I love most about shoots is the collaborative aspect. You definitely can't do this alone be it the execution or even the planning process, hence I love meeting people! I've met many new friends through shooting and I think Singapore is filled with really nice people. No kidding man, they're friends that I keep even till now and we just talk about anything under the sun.

Headed down to a bridal boutique with my mum cause her friend told her there's a sale now

'Irene Creations' is selling their beautiful gowns for very reasonable prices, if I were getting married I'd totally buy them. So if anyone of you are interested do ask me more! I can give you directions and yeah try to help you (wink wink you know what I mean)

Was actually looking for gowns to keep for future shoots, especially since I'm getting them at a good rate, why not just buy and keep a few. I'm hoping no one buys the 3 I've kept my eyes on already hahahah, but ok whoever can offer a high price should buy it. I have not much money in my pocketttt

Student here, just saying hahaha. I saw the super sexy bare back cheong sum I used for a shoot long time ago when I was absolutely clueless about shooting. Thank God I had an amazing model who helped me (I'm so surprised till today) and a make up artist none other than Charis!!! (I've always and only used her) plus Joel and Shi Qian to accompany me although I really knew nothing much about photography. Sigh so embarrassing when I look back, but it'd be so much worst without them I don't even wanna imagine. I'll post some photos of the cheong sum shoot I had back then

I always have so much fun shooting with Fairebelle and it's cause I get to work with amazing people like Mabel and Pei Hong. Haha makes my 'job' more enjoyable. Fairebelle is the first blogshop that got me started and I'm so thankful that they are the first I'm shooting cause being new to this, it's awesome when you have them cause they're really understanding and patient. Initially I didn't think that it'd be challenging but it is! Not that it's difficult but definitely more than what I expected. There's many things to take note when shooting a blogshop and the focus is really different so yay I actually learnt alot and am still learning. Thanks Peihong really! For all your very detailed advices and encouragements as well 

Can't wait for tomorrow!!!

When was the last time you did this. Going to the beach playing with the sand and had nothing to return home to do. It's like how my cousin went into the water without even thinking about how she's going to wash up later. #Yolo kinda thing, but yet different. Haha it's so amusing just watching them. Yknow how with age, we tend to pack up our schedules, meeting multiple people a day, having to plan with so many others on the other days to come. 

I honestly can't remember a day where I could go home without having to do anything. When I'm out working/meeting people/ running errands, I return home having loads to do as well. I watch my baby cousins having no worries at all, being such happy kids. Watching and being with them makes me so happy because I'm lost in time but when it's time for all of us to go back, all these 'to-do lists' starts flooding back. 

It's my holidays, THE ULTIMATE long uni holiday that I'm having and guess what schools gonna start in Aug (that's real soon btw) and I wanna rest so badly. Not as in sleep all day all night, but I wanna finish some things that I've set for myself in the beginning on this holidays. I told myself that I'm going to paint at least one (I'm afraid that I might not even get to do that), I wanted to rock climb, shoot my new baby cousin and stay over at my uncle's again, I wanted to bring my siblings out for a day, stay at home and do something. Sadly I doubt I'm actually able to rest the way I'm dream to but I'm looking forward to my little getaway to Bali on the 14th (With Rach and frenzys yaaaay)

Looking forward to dropping and leaving everything aside and behind for a while

Haha I'd definitely need that. And thanks to mum and dad for making me go cause if they didn't encourage me I would never have gone overseas this summer. (And thanks for sponsoring most of it<3)

Did this random super last minute shoot at 11:30 pm when I last minute decided to stay over after the gathering. This was just outside the house and haha pretty interesting actually ;)

Truly blessed to have a relative like her. She speaks my mind without me saying much at all. Whenever I have concept, she'd be one of the first cause I know that she really really understands and she'd know how to put them into better words. I can't wait for us to grow a little more in what we're doing, and hopefully we'll collaborate FOR REAL :')

It's tough finding people that actually understand your thoughts. I wouldn't share my brain with many cause people would just think I'm thinking way too much, being too emotional, and being a freak. Thanks Kezzy for being the only Singaporean for fully understanding my A'level coursework haha only you saw my tears and frustrations when no one else could understand. (Trust me, you'd get pretty insecure when no one really understands your A'level art work) Haha at least someone gets it, apart from the few people that interviewed me in UK. But haha Kez was the first and she even helped bette refined my thoughts. I had the privilege to share a toilet with her hahaha we were toilet mates when I was living with my uncle and his family then. All those times we talked and cried and hugged and snuggled <3 Miss you so much. OH AND WE ALWAYS HAD AWESOME SUPPER and life just having her around everyday was great (Brushing teeth with eyes closed etc)

Did a shoot for 'shopsixtoten' last week (www.shopsixtoten.com) at Punggol beach. Hahah I know it's overused but still it's a great place I love it :> But this time even though we were at Punggol beach we managed to vary the shots so not everything is taken by the sand and waters 

Well the amazing new thing this semester holiday is that I started shooting for blogshops and I'm so thankful for Fairebelle and Shopsixtoten for trusting me with this! It's really a privilege to be working with owners that are your friends and models as well. I have more fun doing this as a 'job' cause I'm having fun myself too. And I've learnt a lot, it's not that simple! And it's different from artistic photography, so yes something new for me :>

Thanks Carina and Cass for hiring me! Thanks for trusting me with the way I direct and it was easy to work with you guys cause we're kinda like minded hahaha. CANDID NATURAL SHOTS AT BEST HIGH-5. And to your daddy who drove and stayed throughout the shoot providing us with umbrellas. WE BRAVED THE SHOOT DESPITE THE RAIN HOORAY. 

And yeap that's Edi being goofy. Whenever I'd want her to smile sweetly I'll say 'Hey Eds, think about our wonderful friendship (flutters eyelids)'
